Iran discloses volume of oil products transported to northern regions

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. Iranian Oil Pipeline & Telecommunication Company (IOPTC) transported approximately 2.73 billion liters of oil products to the north of the country, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), an official of the IOPTC Mehdi Jamei told Shana News Agency, Trend reports.

“Of the mentioned volume, 1.55 billion liters were accounted for gasoline, 1.11 billion liters for diesel and 66 million liters for white oil,” he said.

Jamaei also noted that the IOPTC transports an average of 8 million liters of oil products daily from the Tehran Oil Refining Company to the Mazandaran and Golestan provinces of the country.

According to the official, there are 10 stations for the transportation of oil products operating in the northern part of Iran. Seven of the stations are in Mazandaran Province and 3 in Golestan Province.

Iranian Oil Pipeline & Telecommunication Company is engaged in transporting crude oil and oil products to the country's oil refineries and consumption points through more than 14,000 kilometers of pipelines in the country.
