Preparatory hearings on the case of a dismissed employee of PCH Offshore, Vusal Jafarov, were held at Sabayil Court of Baku on Friday, Jahangir Aliyev, head of the Republican Committee on Trades Unions of Oil and Gas Industry Employees.
During the first hearings the testimonials by both sides were taken. Mehman Sultanov, a lawyer of the company, represented PCH Offshore at the hearings.
At the sentence of the court the next hearings on Jafarovs case were scheduled for 9 March.
Hearings on the case of Samir Nabiyev, another employee of the company, were held on 2 March and the hearings will continue on 6 March.
Azer Guliyev, a lawyer of Bos Shelf, defended the rights of plaintiffs at the hearings.
The Committee has initiated the lawsuits and undertaken all financial expenses in this respect and an employee of the Committee will certainly participate in the hearings, he underlined.
The major demand by the plaintiffs is their rehabilitation to previous jobs at the company.
