OSCE conference on Security of transport network and development of transportation in the regional cooperation and consolidation of stability in the OSCE zone was held in Prague on 22-24 May 2006 under the 14th Economic Forum of OSCE, Trend reports.
The meeting heard reports by an adviser of the Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) on Geology, Geophysics and Field Development, Eldar Shahbazov on the risk estimation and management in respect to energy resources of the Caspian, Black and Mediterranean sea regions. The discussions focused on the estimation of risks and prevention of critic reasons in production and delivery of energy resources to the world markets.
Attending the gathering were representatives of the OSCE member-states, international institutions, UN, NATO, the European Commission, the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and others.
