The loans worth 158 million manats ($92 million) were issued through the Azerbaijani Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund from January through August 2020, Trend reports citing the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund.
This figure is 34 percent more compared to the same period last year, the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund said.
To date, the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund issued 30,158 mortgage loans totaling 1.5 billion manats ($882 million).
The Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) was established upon the decree of the Azerbaijani president #299 dated September 16, 2005.
