Value of investments made to Iran's Markazi Province enlarges

The value of investments made to Iran’s Markazi Province increased by 125 percent during the first 7 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, the Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Markazi Province Saeed Jafari said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

According to the Jafari, 182 enterprises were licensed to launch over the reporting period. And about 15.7 trillion rials (about $374 million) worth of investments have been made on these enterprises.

The chairman added that 2,340 people were employed via the launch of these enterprises. There was an increase of 40 percent in terms of employment within seven months compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“Moreover, the licenses were issued for the establishment of 459 enterprises during 7 months. The number of issued licenses increased by 8.8 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” he said.

Jafari emphasized it is projected that 69.8 trillion rials (about $1.66 billion) will be invested on the construction of these enterprises and 9,800 people will be employed after launch of the enterprises.
