Most of transactions made via Government Payment Portal in Azerbaijan during the first half of 2021 accounted for non-cash payments, Trend reports referring to the Review of Payment Systems by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the review, this indicator made up 30.5 million transactions worth 1.9 billion manat ($1.1 billion), 55 percent of which fell on the non-cash payments.
To date, 1,438 municipal bodies, 114 court authorities, 19 insurance companies, 11 central executive authorities, five fixed and mobile communication operators, four communal service enterprises, three government agencies, and other structures have been integrated into this portal.
Collection of the payments for more than 900 services is maintained.
