Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / Azerbaijan and Latvia will discuss the prospects of IT cooperation. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Latvia, Tofig Zulfugarov, informed Trend by telephone from Riga that the talks will take place within the current visit of Azerbaijan's Minister of Communications and Information Technologies, Ali Abbasov, to Latvia.
During his visit to Riga, the Minister plans to meet with the Latvian Minister of Special Assignments for Electronic Government Affairs, Ina Gudele, to discuss issues of mutual interest.
An Azerbaijani-Latvian IT business-forum is planned to be held within the visit to expand the co- operation with regards to IT, as well as realization of the projects envisaged by "E-Government". The forum is planned to be held on 31 May.
