Azerbaijan imported 1.3 million tons of goods delivered by road transport in seven months of 2020, rising by 3 percent compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, the volume of goods exported from Azerbaijan by road transport amounted 787,251 tons, which is 2 percent less than in the same period of last year.
In the past eight months of this year, the volume of Azerbaijan’s cargo freight decreased by 3 percent making up 31,909 tons.
From January through July 2020, Azerbaijan’s trade turnover amounted to $15 billion, a drop of 37.7 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
