As he noted, the plant produces cement grades M400, M450, and M500, widely used mainly in the construction of civil and industrial facilities. According to him, the cost of the project is 47 billion tenge (about $99.2 million).

Shcherbakov noted that the plant's productivity allows it to meet the needs of the city of Almaty, the Zhetysu region, and the Almaty region with its products up to 65 percent.

"The industrial, transport, and logistics areas of the enterprise employ 600 workers, most of whom are local residents. In addition, about 200 additional jobs have been created in dealer centers involved in the sale of products," he said.

As he noted, since the launch of the plant, the company, as part of its social responsibility, has provided financial support for the development of the Kerbulak district in the amount of 2.7 billion tenge ($5.7 million).

"These funds were used to repair the Saryozek-Koktal road and implement social projects in the district," he added.
