President Islam Karimov signed an order to appoint Shukhrat Ganiev as Head of Administration of Ferghana region.
Ganiev was the acting head of the regional administration since November 2011 after the dismissal of Khamidjon Nematov.
Ganiev was first deputy governor of Ferghana region for agriculture and water resources from 2008 until November 2011.
