Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has harshly criticized US President Donald Trump over his anti-Iran remarks made during his debut speech at UN General Assembly on Tuesday.
“His remarks, particularly those about Iran … are not even worth a response,” IRNA quoted him as saying in New York.
Trump addressing the UN General Assembly today attacked Iran, saying it was a “corrupt dictatorship”. He also accused Iran of destabilizing the Middle East.
“The Iranian government masks a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy,” Trump said.
“It has turned a wealthy country with a rich history and culture into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed and chaos.”
