BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. Some 25 million Georgian lari ($8.1 million) worth of securities with a maturity of 10 years was sold at Georgia’s Ministry of Finance Treasury Bill Auction on April 19, 2022, Trend reports via the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).

According to the NBG, four commercial banks participated in the auction. The total demand amounted to 62.5 million Georgian lari ($20.4 million). The minimum yield was 10.48 percent, the maximum - was 10.74 percent, and the weighted average yield was 10.537 percent.

Meanwhile, at the last auction held on April 12, 2022, 20 million Georgian lari ($6.5 million) worth of securities with a maturity of 364-days was sold. Some four commercial banks participated in the auction. The total demand amounted to 56 million Georgian lari ($18.2 million). The minimum yield was 10.5 percent, the maximum - was 10.8 percent, and the weighted average yield was 10.7 percent.
