In January-April 2019, 20 companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey, which is 7 companies more compared to the same period of 2018, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend on May 22.
The total capital of Turkmen companies registered in Turkey for the four months of 2019 amounted to 3.5 million Turkish liras, while for the same period of 2018, this figure was 1.9 million Turkish liras.
In January-April 2019, the greatest number of Turkmen companies was registered in Istanbul (17), with a capital of 2.4 million liras.
The remaining Turkmen companies registered in January-April 2019 account for the share of other regions of Turkey.
“In January-April 2019, one industrial and one construction company were registered in Turkey, 11 companies in the wholesale and retail trade and 2 tourism companies with Turkmen capital,” the report said. “The remaining companies with Turkmen capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.”
The total capital of 11 wholesale and retail trade companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 3 million liras.
