Iran reduces cars imports from Turkey

Cars export from Turkey to Iran from January through September decreased by 35.74 percent compared to the same period in 2019, amounting to $59.555 million, Trend reports citing the Turkish Ministry of Trade.

In September 2020, car exports from Turkey to Iran decreased by 66.21 percent compared to September 2019, and amounted to $7.809 million.

Cars export accounted for 15.7 percent of the country's total exports during this period.

In September 2020, Turkey exported $2.605 billion worth of cars to world markets, which is 24 percent less than in the same month in 2019.

Some 17.5 percent of the country's total exports are accounted for car exports in September 2020.

Over the past 12 months (September 2019 - September 2020), Turkey has exported cars worth $25.180 billion.
