Exports of mining industry products from Turkey to the US in the past nine months of 2020 declined by 0.62 percent compared to the same period of 2019, making up slightly over $271.6 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, in September 2020, Turkey exported the mining industry products worth over $37.5 million to the US, which is 32.79 percent more than in the same month of last year
The export of extractive industry products from Turkey made up 2.7 percent of the country's total exports from January through September this year.
"In September 2020, Turkey exported mining industry products to world markets in the amount of $421 million, which is 19.1 percent more than in the same month in 2019," the ministry said.
Exports of extractive industry products from Turkey in September 2020 accounted for 2.8 percent of the country's total exports.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2019 through September 2020), Turkey has exported mining industry products worth over $4 billion.
