Local men’s volleyball club, Azerneft, will challenge to Macedonia’s Rabotnichki, Albania’s Tirana and the Cyprus’ Nea Salamina in the 6th qualification group of the Top-Teams Cup.
Azerneft, coached by Felix Mammadov, will play first games in the Macedonian capital, Skopje, early in October.
The Macedonians are considered the favorites of the 6th qualification group, following a strong development of men’s volleyball in this war-torn Balkan nation.
However, should Azerneft succeed in becoming the winner of the group, it will likely face Ferram Opava of the Czech Republic and Khalkbank of Turkey.
