"Zenit-M" launch complex will become the property of Kazakhstan as of January 2015.

Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Talgat Musabayev made the remarks at the government hour in the Kazakh Majilis (lower chamber of parliament).

"Today the list of facilities of the "Zenit-M" space rocket complex planned to be excluded from the lease of the Russian Federation and the list of normative- technical and organizational and administrative documents of the Russian Federation, necessary for commissioning of the Baiterek complex of the Kazakh organization. "Zenit-M" launch complex facilities` withdrawal from the lease of the Russian Federation and the transfer to the Kazakh side is scheduled for January 2015," Musabayev said during the meeting.

It is planned to complete the practical training of 49 employees of the Kazakh organization on the structure and operating characteristics of the systems and units of the "Zenit-M" complex, which is necessary to ensure proper reception and the commissioning, he said.
