Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili, the commander of the Khatam-ol-Anbiya Air Defense Base said that Iran built new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Hazem with might to carry bombs.
Esmaeili told FNA on Oct.14, Hazem has long-range flying capability and is suitable to be used in reconnaissance, bombing and carrying the cargoes.
First time Iran announced the production of homemade unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with bombing and reconnaissance capabilities in February 2011.
So far, Iran has produced Karrar, Shahed 129 which are capalibe to carry missiles, meanwhile Liko drone with capacity of carrying 100 kg of cargo.
