The Eurovision Song Contest 2012 to be held in Baku will be a new step in the career of Croatian representative of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 Nina Badric she told Trend on Tuesday.She expressed hope that her country will be proud of her.
Badric said music is the most important in her life. "Music is my power and only it can give me the biggest support on stage," she added.
Nina underscored that she is very curious what will happen in Azerbaijan in Baku.
"Everybody tells me that the Eurovision Song Contest is a great party of music. I am looking forward to meeting all the great musicians from all over the world," she said. She said she's never visited Baku.
"But I have heard that Baku is wonderful and I look forward to meeting the people and the city," she added.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall which is under construction near the State Flag Square. The venue has an arena with a capacity of up to 23,000 spectators. Approximately 16,000 people will be able to attend each of the three Eurovision Song Contest live shows in May.
The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.
The logo for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is 'Fire Flower', while the motto is Light your fire.
Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
