A delegation of the Israeli Knesset arrived in Tbilisi on Monday morning. As the Georgian Parliament said, during the visit the Knesset's Friendship Group with Georgia will hold a meeting with the Georgian Parliament's leadership.
Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze will receive the guests today.
As Knesset member Nino Abesadze said at the Tbilisi Airport, the visit is important in terms of strengthening the Georgian-Israeli relations. "Our group is working to intensify relations between both countries' parliaments, and this visit is a very important event," Abesadze said.
