Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 March / corr Trend A.Ismayilova / Azerbaijani Present Ilham Aliyev stated that in the future workers from abroad will travel to Azerbaijan. "They will come to Azerbaijan from abroad because the problem of unemployment has been fully solved in the country," the President stated while addressing the public in Samukh District on 3 March.
In mid-January the head of State signed a decree for additional measures in the implementation of Decree №560 on the Establishment of State Migration Service issued by the Azerbaijani President on 19 March 2007. In accordance with the decree, the registration of foreigners and persons who are not citizens of Azerbaijan at the Registration on State Migration Service is carried out in line with data provided by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Foreign Ministry will also be authorized to extend the visa term for employees of diplomatic representations and consultations, employees of international organizations and members of their families as well as foreigners who arrive in Azerbaijan on a special mission. The Foreign Ministry will be authorised to extend the visa term for foreigners and persons who are not citizens and who arrived in Azerbaijan on the basis of a visa.
