Political Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia to be Discussed in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 April / corr. Trend S. Ageyeva/ The political aspects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia will be discussed in Baku. The talks will be held on 14-16 April within the forthcoming visit of Edgars Skuja, Deputy Secretary of State of Latvia, the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan said.

Deputy Secretary of State of Latvia plans to discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation and support of Latvia in Azerbaijan's integration into the EU and NATO.

Skuja will also take part part in the international conference on 'frozen conflicts' in GUAM-Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova which will be held on 15-16 April in Baku.

The principal basis in the settlement of the conflicts - Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Georgia-Abkhazia, Georgia- Ossetia and Trans-Dniester conflict are also expected to be discussed at the conference.
