Uzbek, Turkmen presidents sign joint agreement

Uzbek President Islam Karimov and his Turkmen counterpart Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov signed a joint agreement at the Uzbek president's Durmen residence.
The negotiations focused on energy cooperation and the global financial crisis. The talks were held openly.
The meeting focused on transit cargo through Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
