Number of the Muslim countries which want to enter Europe via Azerbaijan is increasing, Azerbaijani Parliamentarian Aydin Mirzazade said during the "spring debates" organized by the Irali (Forward) Public Union. The debates are timed to the Day of Europe - May 5.
Azerbaijan is the eastern country for Europe, Mirzazade said.
"Azerbaijan unites values of Europe and Asia and the developed countries base on the European values," the Azerbaijani parliamentarian said. "Azerbaijan is the European country not only geographically, but also regarding improvement of the European values," the Azerbaijani parliamentarian said.
Azerbaijan's development has been built on the base of the European values, Mirzazade believes.
