Danish MP to be rapporteur for Georgia in CE

Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for Georgia will be the Danish MP Michael Jensen. He replaced in this post diplomat Mathias Yorsh.
Yorsh was not elected to the European Parliament this time and now Hungary is represented in the PACE by another MP.
According to the Georgian parliamentarians, Jensen is principled, objective and authoritative politician.
"Jensen will continue Matthias Yorsh's work with dignity and try to contribute to the democratic development of Georgia. We are confident in this," Peter Tsiskarishvili , the head of the Georgian delegation to PACE said.
