Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Saturday met with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on the sidelines of the international security conference in Munich.
The meeting discussed the preparation of Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation of Turkey and Azerbaijan meeting, Cihan news agency quoted Davutoglu as saying.
Davutoglu said he has also met with Swiss Foreign Minister and they have discussed the process of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Turkey and Azerbaijan signed a joint document on the establishment of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation at the Istanbul summit of the heads of Turkic-speaking countries in September 2010
In January, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ankara Faig Bagirov told Zaman newspaper that the Supreme Council would hold its first meeting in March or April of this year in Baku.
