President Ilham Aliyev opened reconstructed "Koroglu" metro station of Baku Metro, an underground pedestrian passage and new park.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing opening of the station.
Chief of Baku Metro Tagi Ahmadov reported to the president of Azerbaijan Republic providing full information on the parameters of station with modern lighting system.
The President and First Lady viewed the draft of the monument to be erected here to Koroglu, the folk hero of Azerbaijan.
Then, President of Azerbaijan opened a pedestrian passage connecting Heydar Aliyev Avenue and Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The same day, President Aliyev and First Lady got acquainted with the new park built in capital`s Nizami District.
