In case of a military intervention in Syria, the West will first need to strike air force facilities, a spokesman for the Free Syrian Army Mustafa Abdel Karim said at a meeting in Istanbul, Cihan agency reported on Wednesday.

According to Abdel Karim, the Free Syrian Army intends to give coalition forces a list of important sites in Syria, to which the first air strikes should be inflicted. Topping the list is the military airport at Al-Sin, which is the largest military airport in Syria. The Air Forces which consists of MiG 23s and MiG 29s is based there.

In addition, according to Abdel Karim, it is necessary to disable Dumair military airport, which is located 42 kilometers from Damascus. MiG 23, MiG 24, MiG 29 and air defense systems are also located in this airport.

Abdel Karim also noted that the third most important is a military airport in the city of Hama, located three kilometers from the city center. There are fighter jets, 21 MiGs, Mi 8s and Mi 3s in this airport.
