In case of a military intervention in Syria, the West will first need to strike air force facilities, a spokesman for the Free Syrian Army Mustafa Abdel Karim said at a meeting in Istanbul, Cihan agency reported on Wednesday.
According to Abdel Karim, the Free Syrian Army intends to give coalition forces a list of important sites in Syria, to which the first air strikes should be inflicted. Abdel Karim also noted that the third most important is a military airport in the city of Hama, located three kilometers from the city center. There are fighter jets, 21 MiGs, Mi 8s and Mi 3s in this airport.
