Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev signed an order Feb. 13 to create the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies.
The new ministry will be headed by Ramin Guluzade.
The Cabinet of Ministers is instructed:
- to prepare draft regulations on Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies within a two-month period, as well as regulations on structure and total number of employees of the ministry and present them to the Azerbaijani president;
- to prepare proposals within two months for adjustment of the acts of the Azerbaijani president and submit them to the president;
- to ensure adjustment of the normative legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers and inform the Azerbaijani president within three months;
- to control adjustment of the normative legal acts of central executive bodies and inform the Azerbaijani president on their implementation within five months;
- to resolve issues arising from this order.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Justice was instructed to ensure the adjustment of normative legal acts of central executive bodies and normative acts, and inform the Cabinet of Ministers.
