As part of working visit of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to Belgium, an agreement was signed between the government of Azerbaijan and the governments of the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) to free the service passports holders from visa requirements, said the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium in a message Nov. 23.
The agreement was signed by Azerbaijani Ambassador Fuad Iskandarov, the Dutch ambassador in Belgium, the Belgian permanent representative in the EU, and the Luxembourg permanent representative in the EU.
The document, signed at the Benelux General Secretariat in Brussels, will allow thousands of holders of service passports to enter or leave the territory of these states without visas.
