A joint meeting of the permanent parliamentary commissions of the Milli Majlis on law policy and state arrangements and on regional issues was held on 26 May. The gathering also discussed a daft law on supplements and changes to some legislative acts in connection with the application of the lawn on changes and supplements to some laws of Azerbaijan.
Members of the commission announced that some changes were injected to the law on State Service and some articles of the Civil Code. The chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on law policy and state arrangements, Ali Huseynov, noted the significance of changes injected to the law.
The chairman of the commission on regional issues, Arif Rahimzade, underlined that though some changes and supplements were injected into the law, some laws should be reconsidered in general. The chairman of the commission mentioned the Land Code. MPs and employees pf the relevant departments stated their opinions and proposals on the changes injected into the said laws.
Rahimzade announced that the proposals will be taken into consideration and the commissions will anew discuss the document on 30 May.
