The event on "Role of graduates with the American education in Azerbaijan" has been today held in Baku. It has been organized by the public association "Azerbaijani graduates with the American education".
"Azerbaijani students, studying abroad, play a major role in promoting the country," Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Political Analysis and Information Provision Department head Elnur Aslanov said at the event today.
"Informing the world community about Azerbaijan's realities, the country's fair position on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be a priority for Azerbaijani students," he said.
"There are all conditions to implement the projects and initiatives of the Azerbaijani youth," he said. "At present, about 10,000 Azerbaijanis study abroad. ICT, economics, mathematics, medicine are the priority spheres in education obtained abroad for Azerbaijan today."
Chairperson of the public association council's board Aynura Piriyeva spoke about the history of the organization and the implemented projects.
