Cultural days of Saint-Petersburg will commence in Baku on 28 November, the Consul General of Azerbaijan to Saint-Petersburg, Gudsi Osmanov, informed Trend.
The year 2006 was announced as the Russian Year in Azerbaijan. To celebrate this occasion, the Administration of Saint-Petersburg holds cultural days of Saint-Petersburg in Baku. For this purpose, numerous delegations headed by the Chairman of the Cultural Committee of Saint-Petersburg Administration, Nikolai Burov will arrive in Baku.
According to the information provided by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture, the Minister of Culture, Abulfaz Garayev will receive the delegation on 28 November. On the same day, a photo exhibition Solemn Petersburg will be opened at 18:00 hours and Concert of Marin Theatre will take place in the State Philharmonic Society at 19:00 hours. The cultural days of Saint-Petersburg will conclude on 30 November and the Russian delegation will leave Azerbaijan on 1 December.
