BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. In Azerbaijan, the turnover via cash registers of the new generation exceeded 18.6 billion manat ($10.9 billion) from January to October 2022, representing a 49 percent increase over the previous year's comparable rates, Trend reports via the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
More than 77.9 thousand cash registers of the new generation were installed in markets and service locations by November 1.
Since the second quarter of 2019, the devices have been installed stage by stage.
The State Tax Service plans to conclude the fourth stage of the installation of the cash registers of the new generation in the markets and service locations by December 31, 2022.
