Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 March / corr Trend A.Ismayilova / The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited the Instrument Making Plant in Ganja on 3 March, as part of his tour of western regions of the country.
As of late February, Galaservis, a manager at the plant, invested €4mln in the enterprise in accordance with an agreement concluded with the Azerbaijani State Committee on State Property Management.
The plant employs over 140 people. The average salary here is AZN 500 per month. Two workshops function at the plant, which are involved in manufacturing gas and water meters. French specialists manage the technical personnel of the plant, which produces 240,000 meters to sell to Azersu water company.
Galaservis launched talks with Azersu on the sale of water meters to this company. There are plans to produce 250,000 meters a year.
