In 2010 net profit of Bank of Georgia was amounted to 23.7 million lari ($ 1 = 1.76 lari). The CEO of the bank Irakli Gilauri summed up the results of this year on Thursday at a press conference.
According to him, as of the third quarter of 2010, total income of the Bank of Georgia amounted to 75 million lari, which is 22 percent more than the same period last year. Gilauri noted that total bank assets rose by 28 percent and credit investments exceeded two million lari.
According to the CEO, the external borrowings of the Bank of Georgia "from international financial institutions amounted to $ 150 million. The cost of the bank's shares on the London International Stock Exchange significantly increased.
This year London opened an office of the bank.
Gilauri promised that next year Bank of Georgia will offer customers a variety of innovative projects and services.
