Globalization is important on post-Soviet financial and investment markets for financial systems in the CIS, Bank VTB Chairman of the Board Andrey Kostin said at the Fourth Baku International Banking Conference of the CIS today.
"Perhaps, we think more about the issues of integration now, because we see a crisis of integration processes, which occurred in Europe, he said. "Now we see that at some point, the process of reforms may cause internal contradictions while making some mistakes. These contradictions are being resolved through the crisis. It is difficult to predict its impact. If the euro area will disintegrate or not remains open.
"We can not fully realize how important for us to create a single financial space," he said.
