Former health minister vows to deal with problems of low income Iranians

Presidential Hopeful Kamran Baqeri Lankarani said he plans to effectively deal with the problems of low income people, as well as addressing the root causes of the economic issues, Fars news agency reported.

Lankarani said that strong management is high on the agenda of his future administration if he is elected in the June 14 election.

Meanwhile, another presidential hopeful, Ali Fallahian said that he'll boost the electronic services sector and make use of such tools to fight corruption.

The former intelligence Minster referred to his background in fighting corruption and said most cases of economic corruption will be curbed if transactions are done by electronic means.
Iranian Interior ministry announced that the country will hold the 11th presidential election on June 14, 2013.

Voters will select the successor to the current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is not able to participate in the elections for a third term according to the country's constitutional laws.
The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election and the Guardian Council vets the candidates for qualifications.
