Farah Mammadova has been appointed deputy chairperson of the board of JSC Caspian Development Bank (CDB), while Eldar Abdullayev - member of the board, CDB's website said March 4.

Thus, the bank's board has been expanded from three to five members, namely, chairman Nadir Yildirim, his deputy Farah Mammadova, board members Zaur Ahmadov, Kamran Orujaliyev and Eldar Abdullayev.

Yildirim was appointed to this position in early 2016. Earlier, Yıldırım led a branch of Turkish Finans Katilim bank in Antalya. He had been working in Turkish Shekerbank for a long time before his position in Finans Katilim bank.

Yildirim replaced Ibrahim Alishev at this position. Alishev was appointed chairman of the supervisory board.

Caspian Development Bank JSC is one of the first commercial banks registered in Azerbaijan. The Bank was established in 1988 as Universal Bank, and acted as Kovsar Bank from Sept. 24, 2001. The Bank obtained a new license on Jan. 26, 2005, after which entered the country's market under the new name - JSC Caspian Development Bank.
