The volume of foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital totaled 5.28 billion manats in January-July 2017, which is 7.3 percent more than in the same period of 2016 (4.92 billion manats), says the State Statistics Committee’s report on results of seven months of 2017.
Investors from the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, Switzerland, Russia, Iran, US, Japan and Czech Republic account for 88.1 percent (4.65 billion manats) of investments put in Azerbaijan’s economy in the period.
During the period, the biggest volume of foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital was put in July – 998.4 million manats, and the lowest amount – in January (654.1 million manats).
