WB allocates over $7B to improve Turkey's macroeconomic indicators

The World Bank (WB) will allocate $7.5 billion to improve Turkey’s macroeconomic indicators, the country’s media reported Sept. 6 citing the Turkish Ministry of Finance.

It is expected that the funds will be allocated during the next five years.

The agreement between Ankara and the WB on the allocation of funds to improve Turkey’s macroeconomic indicators entered into force Aug. 29 this year.

It is expected that a part of the funds will be spent on carrying out market reforms in Turkey.
