Nine companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey in January-February 2018 that is four companies more than in the same period of 2017, according to a report of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The report says that the total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered during the first two months of 2018 totaled 3.6 million Turkish liras, while the total capital of Azerbaijani companies that entered the Turkish market in January-February 2017 amounted to 250,000 Turkish liras.
In total, 136 Azerbaijani companies were registered in Turkey in 2017.
In general, 58,422 foreign companies were registered in Turkey in 2017.
The number of German companies registered in Turkey stood at 428, Syrian companies – 256, Iranian companies – 231, Russian companies – 146 in 2017. The remaining 57,225 companies accounted for the share of other countries.
The number of foreign companies registered in Turkey rose by 14.38 percent in 2017 as compared to 2016.
