Sahliyali, an Azerbaijani producer of meat and dairy products, has slightly increased production volumes, a source at the company told Trend.
According to the source, production volumes increased by 10-12 percent in 2019, compared to the previous year.
"The company intends to increase this figure in the coming year by opening new additional production lines. It is also planned to start production of milk powder," the source said.
"In the future, the company plans to produce 30 tons of raw milk per day. Currently, this figure is around 20 tons. The products are intended for sale in the domestic market."
According to the source, the company's products are in high demand in the domestic market.
"The sales of the company's dairy products in the domestic market is quite stable and there is a demand for all types of dairy products," the source added. "In the near future it is planned to expand the range of dairy products, including cheeses, quark and gatig [local variety of yoghurt]."
The company uses equipment of Austrian and German production and its has a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
