Ukrainian companies seek to expand their presence in Turkmen market

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12

Ukrainian VIVO group aims to enter the Turkmen market, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

The company specializes in the production of probiotics and bacterial starter cultures for the preparation of fermented milk products at home.

The Ukrainian company already cooperates with Canada, Poland, Slovenia, Lithuania, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Earlier, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine told Trend, that there is significant potential to increase Ukraine's investments in Turkmenistan.

Ukrainian MFA pointed out that economic cooperation between the two countries has great potential and prospects.

“This includes a possible increase of supply of Ukraine's engineering products and electric industry products to Turkmenistan," said the MFA. "In addition, large-scale infrastructure projects are implemented in Turkmenistan in cooperation with Ukraine such as construction of bridges, regional airports, underpasses, mudflows and subways," said Ukrainian MFA.

The following Ukrainian companies are currently supplying various equipment to Turkmenistan: AvtoKrAZ, Zaporizhіa Mechanical Plant, Kryukov Railway Car Building Works, DEG, Interpipe, InterCargoTruck, Universal Drilling Technique, LLC, Motor Sich, Altcom, СA Interbudmontazh.
