Registration of real estate properties in Azerbaijan increases

The registration of real estate increased by 30.2 percent in Azerbaijan from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy.

In total, 144,560 real estate properties were registered by the state (33.13 - primary, 111.43 - re-registration) from January through June 2021.

Some 21,640 real estate properties out of the property to which ownership rights have been registered account for individual residential and garden houses, 44,580 - apartments, 71,900 - land plots, 1,645 - non-residential premises, 363 - property complexes while 16 - multi-storey residential buildings.

Thus, 7,533 individual residential and garden houses passed the initial state registration from January through June 2021 and this figure increased by 16.6 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year.

A similar situation was observed during the initial registration of land plots and non-residential plots (increase of 28.3 percent).

"In general, re-registration of real estate in the country increased by 41.9 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year," the message said.

The technical inventory was carried out and a technical passport was drawn up for 113,976 real estate properties during the reporting period, which shows an increase in annual terms by 18.5 percent.

Moreover, 189,320 certificates (Form-1) on the description of real estate properties registered in the state register were issued to the legal entities and individuals, which is by 67.9 percent more than last year.

The number of registered mortgage agreements increased by 52.5 percent from January through June 2021, reaching 23,224 agreements compared to the same period of last year.
