Approx. 10 People in Baku City Suffer from Heat Stroke
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / About 10 residents of Baku City suffered from heat stroke and visited the Medical Centre within two days from 09:00 hours on 2 August to 09:00 hours on 3 August.
Rauf Nagiyev, the Deputy Chief of the Medicine Centre of Baku, has reported that three of the patients were sent to the hospital.
The Azerbaijani Health Minister recommends that the public do not expose themselves to the sun from 12.00 hours to18.00 hours , they must drink as much water as possible, and only visit the beach before 11:00 hours and after 19.00 hours.
The Ministry noted that these recommendations should be implemented by those suffering from cardiovascular, endocrine and the nervous system, as well as old people, pregnant women and children.
