Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant increased the production capacity of oil refining from 4.1 million tons to 5.1 million tons a year, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant Director General Shuhrat Danbay said.

"Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant has increased its production capacity of oil refining from 4.1 million tons to 5.1 million tons a year. This has become possible after major repairs," he said.

According to him, 6 billion 300,000 tenge has been spent for major repairs.

"It is almost three times more than before the national company's arrival in the factory, which immediately affect the amount of refining", Danbay said.

He said that currently, thanks to the state support, there are no problems with the raw materials supply for Petrochemical Plant.

"Russian companies such as TNK-BP, Lukoil, Rosneft supply the raw materials for refining to the plant," he noted.

It should be recalled that last year JSC NC "KazMunaiGas became the owner of the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant buying its shares from a private oil-producing company Mangistaumunaigas.

Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant is new plant in the country. It was built in the 1970s of the last century and was originally focused on the refining of the West-Siberian oil.
