Kazakhstan, Astana, July 5 /Trend D.Mukhtarov/
A technical committee of oil and gas sector operators will open in Kazakhstan. This decision was taken at a regular meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Association KAZENERGY to develop oil and gas industry.
"The Technical Committee is being established to provide industry-standard technical documents that meet world standards in the industry," General Manager of NCOC (North Caspian Operating Company) Project Coordination Terry Cooper said.
He said the Technical Committee must become an interactive forum for discussion and adoption of a consolidated opinion on the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas fields.
"This dialogue should involve representatives of KAZENERGY, authorized state agencies and interested parties," Terry Cooper said.
