A list of 7,500 items of products and equipment needed in Iran’s oil industry has been presented to local producers at the 11th Khuzestan Specialized Exhibition of Domestic Manufacturing of Petroleum and Drilling Industry Equipment in Khuzestan province, Trend reports referring to Iranian Oil Ministry’s website.
Iranian Oil Ministry said that 11 types of strategic equipment manufactured by Iranian producers with the support of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) were also presented at the exhibition.
Hoshang Seydali, the managing director of Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company (GOGPC), said that in the first half of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), Iranian manufacturers and the company signed 54 contracts for the supply of products and equipment.
Seydali noted that 767 spare parts were designed, repaired or manufactured by the specialists of the company, adding that more than 1,900 types of products were purchased from Iranian manufacturers.
The 11th Khuzestan Specialized Exhibition of Domestic Manufacturing of Petroleum and Drilling Industry Equipment opened in Ahvaz city with the participation of 260 companies on Dec. 13 and will last until Dec. 16.
