Turkmenistan has more than doubled the volume of exports of ECO-93 diesel gasoline and liquefied natural gas for 2020, Trend reports with reference to the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.
Turkmen gasoline is exported to Russia, Afghanistan, Georgia, the UK, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria and Denmark.
The Turkmen GTL plant of country’s Turkmengas State Concern for the production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas increased the production of environmentally friendly fuel several times in 2020.
The plant's capacity provides the processing of 1.8 billion cubic meters of gas and 600,000 tons of ECO-93 ECO-friendly synthetic gasoline that meets the EURO-5 standard, as well as 12,000 tons of diesel fuel and 115,000 tons of liquefied gas using the Haldor Torso TIGAS ™ technology (improved gasoline synthesis) per year.
As reported, the customs of the Akhal region of Turkmenistan have increased the volume of exports of ECO-93 gasoline from January through August 2020.
Due to the growth of exports, the country is working to increase the volume of production of these products.
